Dutch immigration and labour law - May 2024

The Dutch immigration system is among the best in Europe, but that does not mean it’s always easy to navigate. If you currently hold or will soon hold a Highly Skilled Migrant permit and would like a better understanding of Dutch immigration and employment law, then this free webinar will be invaluable to you.

IN Amsterdam’s expert partners Fragomen and Russell Advocaten will present topics of interest to internationals employed in the Netherlands, such as labour law, work contracts, and navigating Dutch immigration as a highly skilled migrant.

They will also be on-hand to answer questions about the procedures and permits needed for those planning to move to the Netherlands.

Topics that will be covered during this webinar include:

- Checking an employment contract

- Termination of the employment contract

- Changing employment - what to keep in mind

- Post-contractual obligations

- Remaining in the Netherlands after dismissal

- Highly skilled migrant permit: basic compliance requirements (change of sponsor, change of status, local registration, time spent in/outside of the NL, health and other leaves)
