Dear Adventurers,

Let's discover the Netherlands together! Join Dana and a bunch of other explorers on a journey to Leiden! This one-day trip is the perfect opportunity to explore a new city and experience its rich history, culture, and beautiful scenery.  The famous Naturalis Museum, Old Castle (Burcht van Leiden), Windmill Museum (Molen de Valk) together with walking in the city center and near the canals will make this an unforgettable experience. 

WHEN

Saturday 21st of October 2023 from 9:45 to 18:00

WHERE

Meet at Amsterdam Central Station - IJhal, next to Starbucks. The meeting point is marked with an orange square on the map, meet here with Dana

 

Tickets & AIC Card:

• Including train ticket + Museum ticket: 42€ (40€ with AIC CARD. Get your AIC Card here)
• WITHOUT tickets: 5€ (FREE with AIC CARD) in this case you will arrange your train ticket and museum ticket or if you have Museum Card or NS subscription.
• Tickets do not include food or drinks
  
• Tickets do not include local transport
• Tickets are not refundable 
• Tickets are NOT swappable

 

How does it work

We meet at 9.45 sharp. Don't forget that we have a train to catch!

Transportation: NS Train, 2nd class from Amsterdam Central to Leiden

Once arrived we will visit Naturalis Biodiversity Center, which is a national museum of natural history and a research center on biodiversity. It was rewarded the European Museum of the Year 2021. Its collection includes approximately 42 million specimens, making it one of the largest natural history collections in the world. After the visit at the museum, we will have lunch at a restaurant in the center of Leiden. You can also bring lunch from home or pick up something else. As you wish 🙂. Afterwards we will have a walk in the city center together and we will see the other attractions of the city like the Old Castle (Burcht van Leiden), Windmill Museum (Molen de Valk) etc.

The trip is limited to 20 participants.

Reservations will close on October 20th at 13:00

AIC will need to purchase the train tickets in advance. Tickets are individual.

Please bring valid proof of identity with a photo (passport, identity card, or driving license) because the controller will check the correspondence between the ticket and your identification document.
