SUN 10 Dec - Trips for expats: Discover Haarlem Christmas Market - A One-Day Adventure in The Netherlands🚝📸

Let's discover the Netherlands together! Join Dana and a bunch of other explorers on a journey to Haarlem! This one-day trip is the perfect opportunity to explore a new city and experience its rich history, culture, and beautiful scenery.  But the main goal of this December trip is to visit the famous Haarlem Christmas Market. 

WHEN

Sunday 10th of December 2023 from 11.30 to 19:00

WHERE

Meet at Amsterdam Central Station - IJhal, next to Starbucks. The meeting point is marked with an orange square on the map, meet here with Dana

 

Tickets & AIC Card:

• 15€ Regular ticket  (includes train ticket) (12€ with AIC CARD. Get your AIC Card here)
• WITHOUT tickets: 5€ (FREE with AIC CARD) if you bring your own train ticket
• Tickets do not include food or drinks
  
• Tickets do not include local transport
• Tickets are not refundable 
• Tickets are NOT swappable

How does it work

We meet at 11.30 sharp. Don't forget that we have a train to catch!

Transportation: NS Train, 2nd class from Amsterdam Central to Haarlem

Once arrived we will have a short walk from the train station to the Haarlem City Center. We will have lunch and then continue with a walk in the city. One nice attraction of Haarlem is the famous brewery in a church, Jopenkerk Haarlem that we are planning to visit. In the afternoon we will enjoy the Christmas Market and the Christmas lights and ornaments. We will have free time for shopping and having a glass of gluhwein (mulled wine). Afterwards we all go at the train station to go back in Amsterdam, the train will leave around 18.30.   

The trip is limited to 20 participants and has a minimum attendance of 6 persons. If the number will not be reached, 24 hours before the event, we will cancel the event and refund you the whole amount 

Reservations will close on December 9th at 13:00

AIC will need to purchase the train tickets in advance. Tickets are individual.

Please bring valid proof of identity with a photo (passport, identity card, or driving license) because the controller will check the correspondence between the ticket and your identification document.

We will also create a Whatsapp group so that the group can be in touch. After receiving your reservation, we will send you an invitation link to access the group.
